Terms of use and sale

The short version

• The guide and the free beta editor are free to use. No account is needed.
• The editor helps you edit picture descriptions. You are responsible for checking the downloaded copy before you share it.
• The full version will be a one-time $4.99 purchase, sold through Lemon Squeezy as merchant of record. It is not on sale yet.
• Refunds follow our refund policy.

Using the guide and the editor

You may use the guide pages, the practice decks and the free beta editor for your own teaching, work or study. The editor reads the .pptx you choose in your browser and creates a new downloaded copy. It does not overwrite your original file.

Only open presentations you have the right to edit. Please don’t try to disrupt, overload or get around the limits of either site.

What the editor does and does not do

The editor lists slide picture occurrences and lets you change their descriptions individually or in a selected group. It does not write descriptions automatically, cover every kind of visual, or certify that a presentation is accessible or legally compliant. Supported files and exclusions are listed under what the editor supports.

The editor is a beta. It has been tested with synthetic presentations, but it may not work with every deck. Keep your original file, and review each downloaded copy in PowerPoint before sharing it.

Buying the full version

Status: not on sale yet. This section describes the terms that will apply once the full version is available.

• What you get. A one-time unlock of the full version of the editor. The full version allows editing on all slides of a supported presentation instead of slides 1–20, and lets you open and work on several presentations at the same time instead of one. It is for your own use; please don’t share or resell your unlock.
• Price. $4.99 (USD), paid once. It is not a subscription and does not renew. Any sales tax or VAT is calculated and shown at checkout.
• Who sells it. Lemon Squeezy is the merchant of record for the purchase. It processes your payment, collects and remits applicable sales tax or VAT, and sends your receipt. Your purchase is also subject to Lemon Squeezy’s Buyer Terms.
• Delivery. How to unlock the full version will be explained at checkout and in your receipt email.
• Refunds. See the refund policy. If a problem on our side prevents your unlock from working and we can’t fix it, contact us and we will arrange a refund.

Changes to the service

We may improve, change or pause the guide or the editor, and we may update these terms. When we change these terms, we will update the date at the top of this page.

No warranty

The guide and the editor are provided “as is,” without promises that they will be error-free or suit every purpose. To the extent the law allows, our total responsibility to you for any claim related to the sites or the full version is limited to the amount you paid for the full version. Nothing in these terms limits rights you have under the law that cannot be waived.
